Tahnée Seagrave – Following Her Dream

December 10, 2019

This week I’m joined by Tahnée Seagrave. Tahnée started off the 2019 season with a win at the opening round of the world cup, only to be taken out in Fort William, leaving her with a serious shoulder injury. We chat about her career so far, dealing with injury, riding at the old rampage site, the prospect of 2020 being the most competitive season in womens’ DH ever, and much more. Hit play and give it a listen.

You can follow Tahnée on Instagram @tahneeseagrave

This episode is supported by Cotic Bikes, who have recently launched a new version of their FlareMAX that I’ve been riding and loving for the last 18 months. It’s a short travel 29er that seriously punches well above it’s weight. To find out more, head to cotic.co.uk.

Especially for Downtime listeners, Cotic are offering a free pair of Burgtec composite pedals with any FlareMAX frame or bike purchase before the end of 2019. Just use the code ‘DOWNTIME’ in the notes box on the online order form, as well as letting them know what colour pedals you’d like.

This episode of the podcast is also supported by Hunt Bike Wheels. Hunt strive to go above and beyond by bringing the latest technology and engineering to all things round, with the aim to simply create the best wheel for all types of riding. They have a great range of wheels in both aluminium and carbon for you to choose from, over at huntbikewheels.com. Hunt wheels are used by a number of top riders, including enduro star Matt Stuttard who I interviewed recently on the podcast, and he raved about them (listen here).

For Downtime listeners, Hunt are kindly offering 10% off all their wheels over at huntbikewheels.com for the month of December. Just use the code ‘downtime10’ at the checkout.
